Civil engineers recognised in Forbes 30 under 30 list

James Holloway and Louise Ellis have been named in Forbes’ inaugural 30 under 30 Europe list for Industry.

The first even “30 under 30 Europe” list features 300 innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders from across Europe whom are transforming business, technology, finance, media and culture. Each of those honoured were vetted and selected by a panel of experts in their respective fields. The list covers 10 categories – Media, Industry, Policy, Retail and E-Commerce, The Arts, Entertainment, Social Entrepreneurs, Science and Health Care, Technology and Finance.

James is an engineer in the Scotland Infrastructure Group has been helping lead Arup’s work on the Queensferry Crossing Bridge where he’s responsible for the oversight of design and construction of the bridge’s three 200m tall towers.

A civil engineer in the Bristol Infrastructure team, Louise was selected for her work weatherproofing massive infrastructure works including the New York subway system. She is now back in England focusing on coastal flood and urban drainage projects.
