Andy Howard is the global lead for our Energy, Water and Resources business, and a member of the Group Board since April 2021. Andy joined Arup in 1987 as a mechanical engineer; he spent several years in London, then eleven years in Africa leading a range of buildings and industrial projects, before moving to the US in 2001. He was Los Angeles group leader before becoming Americas Region COO in 2004, and Americas Region Chair from 2016 to 2022. Andy has served on a number of the firm’s global executives as well as industry and business groups externally.
