Leading our Planning and Design service in Australasia, Anna is passionate about cities and their role in delivering a better world. She is continuously curious about how they work and is committed to improving the social, environmental and economic benefits they provide to the people who live, work, and study in cities.

Anna has a rich global experience living, working, and studying in many places, from Tokyo to Tehran, Mumbai to Mexico City, and Sydney to San Francisco.

Anna brings 18 years’ experience in project management, urban design, strategic planning and master planning for a diverse range of projects in Australia, North America, Asia, Europe and Africa. 

She has worked in Australia and the United States on the urban regeneration, design and master planning of cities, town centres, precincts and the public domain.

The complex, multidisciplinary nature of these projects requires nuanced stakeholder engagement and consultation to navigate competing interests to deliver outcomes that have political, financial and technical support. Most recently, she has delivered integrated precinct master planning projects for major transport corridors in Sydney and Canberra, focusing on inclusive design, safe spaces and public open space provision.

Her approach to urban design is underpinned by a focus on client relationships, community and stakeholder needs, multidisciplinary collaboration, complex problem solving, creativity and innovation.

Anna has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, which complements her creative and technical skills as an urban designer.

Her specialist areas of focus include leading and stewardship, business sustainability, strategy development and implementation, cultural change, mentoring, diversity and inclusion, complex problem solving and evidence-based decision making with a focus on client relationships, community and stakeholder needs, multidisciplinary collaboration, complex problem solving, creativity and innovation.
