Bill Scrantom is Arup’s Americas Properties Leader inclusive of Commercial, Science, Industry, Technology, and Social Infrastructure. A Principal with over 35 years of experience, he has a strong background in operational leadership and growing businesses. Bill is especially valued as an advisor in healthcare facilities planning and design, working closely with key clients such as Kaiser Permanente, Cedars-Sinai, and numerous other healthcare organizations in California and across North America.

Since joining Arup in 2011, he has become a well-known expert in the design of sustainable healthcare environments, bringing a client-centric focus to developing significant facilities for academic medical centers and community hospitals, as well as ambulatory and medical research facilities. During his many years in the business, he has touched virtually every aspect of the project lifecycle–from planning to delivery–with a strong focus on design, project management, operations, and business growth.
