Anthony McCauley

Anthony McCauley is an Associate Director with Arup and leads the Irish Façade team.  Since qualifying as a Structural Engineer in 1994, Anthony worked as a Structural Engineer in Arup Ireland before transferring to the Façade team in Melbourne office in 2001.

He returned to Dublin in 2003 and established the Façade Engineering team in Ireland. He currently splits his time between Irish and overseas façade projects, as project and other commitments dictate.  

Anthony has significant experience in most building sectors, including high profile public buildings, commercial, retail and residential developments, particularly in the following areas:

  • Façade Consultancy
  • Façade Design and Engineering
  • Building diagnostics and remediation works

Notable projects in Ireland include, Dublin’s Air Traffic Control Tower, Dublin Airport Terminal 2, Cork County Hall Redevelopment, and Miesian Plaza.  Internationally, Anthony has been involved in the design of Apple’s Global and European headquarters buildings as well as new terminal buildings in Baku and Zagreb.
