Brian is a Professional Engineer and Americas fire engineering skills leader for Arup. He has over 20 years of experience delivering holistic fire and life safety approaches across the built environment on six continents through collaboration with global Arup fire engineering team.
He started his time with Arup in Massachusetts but has been located in Los Angeles since 2005 and led the LA-based fire engineering team from 2011 through 2021, when he transitioned to my current regional role.
In 2019, Brian was honored by Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine as one of the 40-under-40 award recipients. He served on the SFPE Professional Activity and Knowledge Survey twice in support of the further development of the Fire Protection Engineering professional engineering exam.
