As a senior landscape designer and East Asia Cities, Planning and Design Services Leader in Landscape Architecture based in Arup's Hong Kong office, Claudia has overseen a diverse range of projects from initial conception to construction and contract administration.
Her experience includes landscape masterplanning for new town development and reclamation projects, as well as designing rehabilitation gardens for healthcare facilities; and conducting landscape and visual impact assessments.
In addition to her practical work, she is passionate about advancing the field of landscape design through research and innovation. She has contributed to the development of a carbon footprint calculator for landscape projects and an automatic tree identification application. By constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the industry, Claudia is dedicated in applying nature-based solutions in her design strategies for every project. She achieves this through the implementation of urban forestry and biodiversity design in large-scale planning proposals, as well as sustainable water drainage design and zero-irrigation systems in building projects.
