Daniela is Arup's Europe Building Retofit Leader. She has working as a lead design engineer and project manager within Arup for almost 20 years, and has ove 10 years experience working on rennovation projects.
Her professional experience spreads across a variety of international projects in industries including Science & Industry, Education, Commercial property, Retail and Hotels & Leisure.
Daniela believes strongly that building retrofit is a way to reuse and transform existing buildings as opposed to demolish and reconstruct because of the value it delivers for communities in terms of reducing carbon emissions, sustainability, cost effectiveness, cultural heritage, preservation and characterful placemaking.
She enjoys leading multidisciplinary and multicultural design teams and working alongside clients in partnerships to help overcome their complex challenges.
