With over 25 years of experience in the built environment, Ilana spent the first decade of her career as a practicing architect across a range of project types prior to specializing in sustainability and resilience. This range of professional experience enables Ilana to provide innovative yet practical solutions that meet ambitious climate objectives.

Based in New York, Ilana has led climate, sustainability, and resilience endeavors on public and private sector projects around the world. Her clients range from commercial property owners and investors to public sector infrastructure agencies. She has also served as an advisor to governments, a board member and chair of sustainability groups, and has forged industry partnerships to advance climate imperatives.

Drawing upon a multidisciplinary team across Canada, the United States, and Latin America with expertise in services including adaptation and resilience, sustainable design and strategy, and decarbonisation, Ilana strives to develop a tailored approach to meet each client’s unique challenges and objectives.
