James is a Director in our global Business and Investor Advisory team, leading advisory work in renewable energy and regulated utilities for strategic investors.

With over 20 years of experience in the energy infrastructure space, James has spearheaded advisory projects in offshore wind, interconnectors, offshore transmission, complex utility and renewable portfolios, and the delivery of large-scale and complex projects.
 
A chartered civil engineer and member of the Institute of Civil Engineers, James leads our work in the offshore transmission operator (OFTO) space. He has conducted due diligence assignments for investors in major utility networks, including SSE Transmission and National Grid Electricity Distribution in the UK, EWE in Germany, and most recently the Greenlink Interconnector between the UK and Ireland.
 
James has co-authored several renewable energy publications, including the World Bank ESMAP report Key Success Factors for Development of Offshore Wind in Emerging Markets
