Joe Solway is an associate principal and the Americas East arts, culture, entertainment, sports and leisure leader, based out of Arup’s New York office. Having been part of the firm for over two decades, Joe has also worked for Arup in our London and Hong Kong offices.
He has extensive experience in the design of spaces for performance, from intimate recital halls to large immersive entertainment venues, spaces for rehearsal, collaboration, and experimentation. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients and led teams to conceive, develop and build unique spaces that foster creativity. An active educator and saxophonist, Joe combines his passion for acoustics, education, and performance to engage and collaborate with clients, artists, and educators.
