Arup has been at the forefront of transforming Macau’s cityscape since 2002, starting with landmark Sands Macao and followed by iconic resorts such as Venetian Macao, Galaxy Macau and Londoner Macao. Our portfolio has since grown to include strategic planning and infrastructure projects, driving Macau’s economic diversification.
Our infrastructure work, including the 4th Macau-Taipa Bridge and numerous LRT lines, has strengthened the city connectivity. Our contributions to the LRT Hengqin Extension, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Hengqin New Area urban design have facilitated the city’s integration into the Greater Bay Area, unlocking opportunities for regional collaboration.
Our masterplan for Macau in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, envisions a happy, smart, sustainable and resilient city with a strong focus on community and environmental well-being for the future.
