Driving forward the energy transition, Arup will collaborate with TotalEnergies on engineering studies and technical advisory services to support the energy company’s global ambition to develop 100GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

The agreement builds on the existing relationship between the two organisations, who have previously worked together on offshore wind and solar energy projects in markets around the world.

Arup provides energy-related services to clients around the world, including on transition planning, low-emission energy generation, transmission and distribution, the hydrogen economy, and energy storage. At COP26 in Glasgow, Arup announced a dedicated focus on net-zero activity.

The next decade will be immensely important for offshore wind, with the planned build-out only possible through increased collaboration in the energy sector. We’re excited to work with TotalEnergies, who share our ambition to drive forward the energy transition, and we look forward to combining our skills and experience in developing renewable energy projects globally.
