Arup has been appointed Design Partner to the Manchester Airports Group (MAG) Airfield Infrastructure Framework, bringing its global expertise to support critical airfield development and improvement projects across MAG’s three airports: Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands.
Spanning the next five to eight years, the framework reflects MAG’s long-term commitment to enhancing its airfield assets and operational performance. By leveraging Arup’s extensive expertise in airport master planning, the partnership aims to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that will help MAG achieve its capital development goals, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the passenger experience.
As Design Partner for Lot 1 of the framework, Arup will deliver comprehensive services for a wide range of projects, including airfield improvements, runway resurfacing, aircraft stand development and airfield ground lighting systems.
