Arup will open a new office in Brussels next month, as we continue to work on projects across Europe and support our partners in reaching climate neutrality by 2050.

Our current portfolio of work in Belgium already includes:

  • Level(s) – an e-learning programme for the European Commission’s Sustainability framework
  • Antwerp Ring Road – Arup is responsible for creating a safer traffic system and designing a covering structure for the 20-km ring road in Antwerp

We are eager to support the European Union in advancing the built environment beyond net zero. Arup experts will bring their breadth of experience to the Brussels eco-system and provide solutions to some of Europe's biggest sustainability challenges, from decarbonising city infrastructure to creating resilient transport systems.

Duncan White, director at the firm, will lead the new office.

As we deepen our relationship with the EU, I'm delighted to announce Arup’s first office in Brussels, which will give us a base to welcome our clients and partners, and to deliver the EU projects we're now actively working on.

Director, Brussels office leader
