Leeds Community Foundation has relocated to Arup’s office at 12 Wellington Place. Arup have been long established supporters of the Foundation, driving social value and supporting local communities across Leeds and Bradford.

Arup’s commitment to social value aligns directly with Leeds Community Foundation’s focus on community empowerment and investment. The partnership enhances Arup’s commitment to place-based and people-led development, fostering collaboration between the private and third sectors to address complex regional challenges.

The move underscores Arup’s belief in the power of shared spaces to drive innovation. Co-locating with the Foundation will create new opportunities for knowledge sharing, allowing both organisations to better respond to the evolving needs of the region. This partnership offers mutual benefits for staff, fostering cross-sector learning and enabling both organisations to deliver more impactful outcomes in their projects.

Niall Bourke, Associate Director at Arup, commented: “We recognise the incredible impact Leeds Community Foundation has in delivering positive change across Leeds and Bradford. We are excited for this partnership, which further strengthens our shared goals for the region and provides a platform for meaningful collaboration across sectors.”

Steph Taylor, Chief Executive at Leeds Community Foundation and GiveBradford, said: “We’re excited to now be based in the most energy-efficient office building in the city. As an established Leeds Business Anchor committed to inclusive growth, Arup will be hosting the Leeds Community Foundation team at their offices at no cost, as part of their social value commitment to Leeds.

“As well as embedding us in the heart of the city, this progressive partnership will enable Leeds Community Foundation to be adaptable and responsive. [We will also be] meeting the needs of our hybrid-working team and our partners, while increasing our financial flexibility and community impact too. We look forward to business as usual, working alongside all our partners, donors and communities, to pursue our vision of a fairer Leeds for everyone.”
