A local Malaysian, Lau brings more than two decades of experience across buildings globally and infrastructure in Southeast Asia, including a decade of actively working in Malaysia. 

Lau’s key priorities will be on diversifying into new markets and services, while continuing to deliver for our existing clients and partners in the firm’s core businesses in Malaysia.

He moves into the leadership role for Malaysia from his previous positions as Group Leader for a broad range of Arup markets in Singapore: Transport, Energy, Water & Resources markets, Advisory, Climate Services & Sustainability, Cities, Planning & Design and Technical Specialist Services.

In my most recent role, I have led the crucial diversification of our Singapore businesses into Energy, Advisory, Climate and Sustainability Services, and Architecture, generating significant growth.
