Established in 1964, Arup’s early presence in Malaysia shaped some of the country’s early landmarks beginning with the redevelopment of the General Hospital in Kuala Lumpur and, later the KOMTAR, formerly known as the Penang Urban Centre.
Since then, our presence has grown into a team of over 300 people, across two offices in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, with a broad range of disciplines. Our global and regional breadth of knowledge allows us to take on complex, strategic projects that few firms can deliver. We draw upon our multidisciplinary expertise to help our clients solve their most difficult challenges.
Bringing together global strength and leadership in innovation and sustainability, we are proud to have delivered an impressive portfolio of iconic and award-winning developments in Malaysia.
We are broadening our services by integrating our best-in-class specialist services like acoustic consulting, audio visual and multimedia, façade, fire engineering as well as advisory, master planning, smart cities and sustainable infrastructures to achieve sustainable solutions and resiliency in the built environment.
