The fourth Millennium edition of The Arup Journal begins with an exploration of Arup's work in transforming the Bankside Power Station in Central London into the Tate Modern art gallery.

Beginning with advising the Tate on potential sites for the new gallery, we then provided a range of building engineering services on a project that will play a significant role regenerating the local area.

Learn more about a number of major infrastructure projects, including our work examining how Reading Station, west of London, become a major node in the transport network providing a high quality interchange between different modes of transport.

We also take a close look at the 8km Oresund Link, a road and rail link connecting Denmark and Sweden - awarded the British Construction Industry 2000 Award for an International Project.
