Our work in South Africa explored the potential for hydrogen use cases in eThekwini and Richards Bay.

Hydrogen has the potential to play a key role within the energy transition. We work with clients who are seeking to scale up production and develop new infrastructure and supply.  

We bring considerable international experience in small and large-scale hydrogen production projects, recognising the importance of combining technical engineering with a firm understanding of business case drivers and local regulations. Our project teams often include experts in maritime issues and port development.   

Our experience spans evaluation of markets and hydrogen production sites, electrolyser systems, sizing and modelling, hydrogen storage, balance of plant and electrical connections. We also support regulatory compliance, safety and risk analysis and design, and act as owner’s engineer supporting the construction and commissioning phases.
