Stations today can play multiple roles for the community that use them – from retail and leisure services through to modal switch to other low-carbon transport modes, stations are increasingly central to vibrant social destinations and economic activity.

Our masterplanning approach helps rail clients to maximise the contextual opportunities and the station’s market value through careful design, precinct masterplanning and effective delivery.

Transport-orientated development (or TOD) continues to evolve, particularly in response to the needs of congested cities worldwide. Masterplanning is therefore a vital part of high-density urban development around metro stations. In major east Asia cities such as Hong Kong where precinct design is often fully integrated with MTR station complexes, we are also working on seamless transitions between the stations and the mixed-use precincts around or above the stations.
