Our design approach is to optimise station siting and alignment, to generate the best outcome for the pedestrians while maximising the commercial opportunities that are vital parts of a station’s performance.

Our approach is also refined by deep data insights. We use our own MassMotion pedestrian and crowd simulation software to provide technical analysis of people’s movement through physical spaces. It helps clients to understand station users’ different movement behaviours and passenger flows. It provides vital design insights to our planners and engineers as they test design proposals, and define operational overlays with the benefit of real human perspective.
